Camden's Mesmerisingly Disorienting Party

You might think God has decided to test your fate by transporting you to somewhere like Zaun (the undercity of Arcane), the difference being everyone is enjoying themselves rather than fighting per se. It's the Northern side of London, so your senses are heightened as far as they can stretch to keep track of yourself amongst all this human rabble.

It's a place where you can get away with almost anything, there's so much going on that no one can focus at all on you or what you're doing. There could be all sorts of crimes going on; the ones you're aware of… and the ones you might not have heard of. There could be the kind of drugs you know, and some that are too mind-blowing to comprehend. But you're completely safe as long as you don't actively seek these out. Easy.

They all mix into an atmosphere of looseness. Anything could happen and you have to just go with it because that's what the locals around you are doing. Everyone has an agenda, which is to have a good time… proper hive mind stuff. But what separates everyone from each other is how their nights go. It's up to fate, and you can only trust it.

I had the courage to take the risk of fate by jumping a leap of faith into this anything-party. I was curious, can you blame a girl? I wanted to observe these people – I wanted to see where they were going, what they wanted to do, what stage of the night they were currently at. I could only do this with my self-defence spray or alarm. Because I had them, I felt like I could indulge in my adrenaline needs.

It was kind of like going to an amusement park on something, except there are snippets of culture from every country finding common ground and becoming one in Camden.
